সংসার সুখের হয়, দু:খের হয়। অনেক টাকাতে সুখ। অনেক টাকাতে দুখ। আবার কম টাকাতে সুখ। কম টাকাতে দুখ। আমার অভাবের সংসার। আমার স্বামীর ইনকাম কম। বেসরকারী চাকুরী করে। খুব ভোরে বের হয়, অনেক রাত করে ফিরে। সারাদিন খেটে-খুটে আমার দেয়া টিফিন ক্যারিয়ারের নাস্তা করে। আমাকে দেখে শুনে খরচাপাতি করতে হয়। তাই বলে আমি কৃপণ না। যত কৃপটামি করি তা আমার নিজের জন্য। ঈদে আমি কম টাকার শাড়ি কিনি। আমি বাপের বাড়ি কম যাওয়া আসা করি। ছেলে-পুলেকে আগলে রাখি। আমরা অল্প টাকার ভাড়া বাসায় থাকি। আমার বাসাতে সোফা নেই, ডাইনিং টেবিল নেই। আমরা খাটে বসে খাই।
শুধু মাত্র এই কথাগুলোর চিন্তাতেই সুখ আর দু:খ দুটোই আছে। এসব সুখের চিন্তা করলে সুখের আবার দু:খের চিন্তা করলেও দু:খের কারণের জন্য এসব স্বাভাবিক।
নাটক দি জেন্টলম্যান, দেখে খুব ভালো লেগেছে। বাস্তবতা অনেক কঠিন। নাটক আর বাস্তবতা ভিন্ন। হইতে পারে নাটকের সাথে বাস্তবতার মিল থাকে না। তারপরেও এই নাটক আমাদের নাড়া দিবে। ভাবাবে..।
যদিও এখানে স্বামীকে খুব ভালো চরিত্র দেখিয়েছে। ব্যাপার হলো এইরকম ভালো স্বামীও তো আছে। আবার অন্য দিকে স্ত্রীর সুখ চাওয়াটাও তো দোষের কিছুনা। শুধু প্রশ্ন হলো, এই সুখ কি শুধু অর্থ-বিত্তে নাকি আমাদের যেমন অর্থ-বিত্তই থাকনা কেন আমরাই সর্ব অবস্থাই সুখে থাকবো এই মানসিকতা।
নাটকের শেষ কথাগুলো হুবহু তুলে ধরলাম…
“শিউলি, সকাল বেলা তুমি যখন চলে যাচ্ছিলে তখন আমার মনে হচ্ছিল তোমারে বলি, শিউলি তুমি যাইয়ো না। কোন জোরে আমি এই কথা বলবো। কারণ, আমি তো তোমাকে রাখতে পারবো না। আমি যখন দেখলাম তুমি ফয়সালের সাথে দামি রেস্টুরেন্টে বসে খাইতেছো, হাসতেছো। আমার খুব দু:খ লাগার কথা, খুব কষ্ট লাগার কথা। শিউলি, আমার এসবগুলো কিছুই হয় নাই। কারণ আমার অনেক দিনের চাওয়া ছিল, তোমার হাসি মুখটা দেখার। আমি সেদিন তোমার হাসি মুখটা দেখলাম। আমার জীবনের একটাই বোধ হয় সফলতা, অদ্ভুত সফলতা। সেটা অন্যের ঘরে হলেও তোমার সুখ।”
সমাজের শিউলিরা সুখে থাক। দু:খকে বরণ করেই সুখে থাক। শিউলিরা ফিরে আসুক। শিউলিরা না থাকলে এই সংসার আর কিসের জন্য, কার জন্য। শিউলিদের জন্য ভালোবাসা।
